    I was part of a great team developing and delivering transformation projects for Edinburgh's Health and Social Care Partnership, and delivering key aspects of Edinburgh Integration Joint Board's Strategic Plan.With responsibility for the Digital, Technology Enabled Care and Community Equipment project, I had been developing projects with key stakeholders working across health, social care, housing, and voluntary sectors to help people live independently for longer and improving the population's overall well-being.I developed all of our work in line with our PMO requirements and worked with a fantastic SRO.Some of my highlights:• Developed stakeholder engagement and service mapping to understand existing provision across the city.• Supporting the delivery of our Savings & Governance Programme.• Developed proposals to secure £40k TEC Scotland funds to create new delivery model for tele care support.• Led the development of Covid-19 Remobilisation Plans for one of our locality teams, following SG RouteMap guidance out of lockdown.• Codesigned a framework identifying sustainability options to align with Savings & Governance and Transformation Programmes engaging with staff across the organisation.

    I provided strategic direction and leadership for a team of 30 to deliver Home Energy Scotland services in the South-East of Scotland. I led, inspired and empowered the team to deliver a world-class customer service; identify and implement delivery improvements; and engage with over 25,000 households, per year, at risk of fuel poverty, or to reduce carbon emissions.• Successfully delivered the contract and met and exceeded 23 KPIs in 2018/19 by empowering the team to reach the annual targets and objectives. Developed the annual delivery plan, engagement activities and budget for 2019/20.• Managed £1.3m contract, balancing resource need with delivery of services; provided detailed monthly forecasting to funders with dashboard reports to highlight delivery, RAG status, risk, achievements, issues and solutions to meet KPIs.• Raised profile and promoted service benefits and outcomes to organisations, to develop and maintain new and existing partnerships, referral opportunities and joint working initiatives to deliver new ideas for customer engagement.

    I was responsible for delivering sustainable travel and transport solutions to a range of clients, including local authorities, regional transport partnerships, private sector organisations and charities.I was also responsible for identifying and delivering a variety of commissions focused on understanding and influencing travel behaviour, including feasibility studies, research, stakeholder engagement, business strategies, as well as the design, delivery and evaluation of behaviour change interventions. My work included developing a three-year Business Strategy for one of Scotland's Active Travel Hubs and researching and creating content for Walkipedia, an online resource highlighting data and statistics about walking in Scotland.

    I was responsible for the strategic management, leadership and motivation for a team of forty, to deliver behaviour change programmes in schools, workplaces and across communities. I planned, managed and evaluated activity to meet business objectives.I secured and managed funding between £660,000 and £2.2m.This included managing and having oversight of;Hands Up Scotland Survey, the Official Statistic for Scotland recording how our children and young people normally travel to school.The established and successful ‘I Bike’ programme, now delivering to around almost 100 new schools a year across 11 local authority areas, supporting school travel professionals through learning programmes and grants for cycle parking.I also oversaw the delivery of the smarter choices project in workplaces 'Active Travel Champions' to encourage employers and employees alike to travel more actively to and from and with work. Leading on from that we are developing our Workplace Network as a way of signposting and supporting people to develop active travel initiatives in their workplace. Lastly, I supported the delivery of a range of community based projects, namely our Active Travel Hubs in Ayrshire building on our learning from Make your move Kirkcaldy. Linking with Street Design and Community Links, as well as provision of infrastructure and promotion of the improvements, we are organising events, there is an active travel training programmes and engaging with the local community.

    I joined the Scottish Government as a secondee during the delivery phase of the Smarter Choices, Smarter Places (SCSP) Programme, I was responsible for successfully coordinating the organisation, direction and implementation of a £15m portfolio of projects to increase active travel and public transport use and reduce transport emissions across seven communities in Scotland.Initiatives delivered within the local authority communities include branding and social marketing; travel planning and personalised travel planning for individuals, businesses and schools; walking and cycling infrastructure provision and associated promotion; and public transport improvements. I jointly managed the monitoring and evaluation of the programme with analytical colleagues to ensure all interventions provide best value for money and the lessons learned from the programme contribute to wider sustainable transport policy development.

    I developed and implemented South Lanarkshire’s Outdoor Access Strategy establishing their Access Forum. I successfully developed the Community Paths Project to engage with access users and managers, communities and organisations to identify and manage local and core path networks and ensure delivery of infrastructure projects.I developed ‘Walk a Little, Live a Lot’, the successful local health walks scheme which attracted over 6,000 participants in its first year. I then recruited and provided line management for a development officer to sustain and develop the project.
