•Established the first American large format prismatic lithium ion cell and battery manufacturing facility producing prismatic lithium ion batteries for transportation vehicles, stationary applications, military and others. Responsible for successfully transferring the lithium ion cell and battery technology from China to the United States. Selected an American manufacturing site in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Completed the on time start-up of the manufacturing facility. Hired and developed the engineering, quality and production staffs for producing the lithium ion cells and batteries. Supported the establishment of the initial customer base.Present responsibility is to manage all of the manufacturing and administration involved in producing lithium ion cells and batteries.Lead the Company to achieve ISO 9001 certification

Elected as the first foreign national in the Company’s 80-year history to become the U.S. Fuji Electric Inc. President and CEO of a fully owned Fuji Electric subsidiary. Responsible for the entire operations and profitability of multi-plant manufacturing in the United States including the profitability of all U.S. operations, sales to North, South and Latin America, strategic planning and interfacing with other functional units in Japan and Hong Kong with relation to manufacturing and marketing. . Reporting directly to Japan and developing the strategy to lead the company into the next generation of growth. Achieved 9001certification.

Directly supervised the performance of over 150 employees. Responsible for the quality, vacuum coating production, costs, employee relations, environmental control and area policies. Accountable for all product quality, production scheduling, overseas shipments, standard procedures inventory control and coordination between U.S., German and Luxembourg manufacturing. Developed special programs using new techniques that resulted in approximately $300K savings in utility costs for the Company. Directly responsible for various construction projects, insuring proper supply and delivery of materials, maintenance and construction. .
