It has a workforce of over 3,000 (including 500 volunteers who contribute significantly to the whole patient care delivered by the hospital) and its annual turnover exceeds A$350 million.Key responsibilities: -• Lead a team of 12 across the whole financial accounting, internal control, payroll, tax compliance, statutory reporting and audit function according to Australian GAAP and church governance guidelines• Serve as the business partner by providing management reporting and analysis to the business for performance reviewing and forecasting. Strategic planning, annual budgeting (both operating and capital), rolling forecast as well as supporting the Board and executive management team.• Manage the various government and sponsor funding acquittal process• Manage the insurance and foreign exchange risk for the business• Implementation of Patient Costing System to facilitate organizational change in decision-making process and focus on strategies in areas with good margin and good growth• Lead the Supply Chain and Warehousing team of 17• Provide financial and commercial input into the various HPPA (Hospital Purchaser Provider Agreement) negotiations, federal or state provider agreements as well as staff Enterprise Agreement.• Review of significant contracts and provide advice from a finance and risk perspective including modern slavery legislative compliance within the ESG framework.
