    Built up a Mortgage Advice business from scratch focussed on Buy To Let (BTL) - Intending to be a sole trader to cut travelling and do more things locally. After 2 years it was growing well and I personally built on-line database servicing many clients all over the UK. As business increased, the model for growth was strengthened and several consultants based in their own homes joined the team. Sadly, the credit crunch subsequently killed the business just as we were moving into a new gear for more significant growth. Company closed to concentrate on the BTL business which had been built up in parallel.

    Started with Premier "City" CA firm Spicer & Peglar in very small Management Consultancy, which grew to over 300 people in a number of specialist groupings. Was I/C the most profitable Group which ran as a separate profit centre with core business in Executive Selection. Also developed expertise in assisting many of the largest City and West End Law Practices in becoming more focussed on finance, IT and people

    Assistant to VP Personnel to becoming I/C Personnel for European Marketing Division. Wide variety of challenges from international performance appraisal scheme design and monitoring - to all sales and marketing Recruitment & Training. Initiated several "apprentice type" schemes directly under my control to recruit people for jobs where we had lots of vacancies to enable large numbers to fill key vacancies in the Group (included a later UK CEO). European role to directly help Marketing units to boost productivity.
