PostConnect was a business of Australia Post, revenue $220m, specialising in Cross Media Communications, delivering multi-channel communications via print, email, SMS and fax. Evolving within a rapid response industry, without the full rigor or governance of AP, the business developed a more agile and adaptive approach, enabling the rapid delivery of customer value.The heterogeneous infrastructure consisted of Linux/Microsoft Virtual Machines (VMware), using Java, Postscript, C, Perl, Python, PRES, GMC Inspire and PostgresSQL.I managed a team of up to 30 software development staff, including BA's senior developers, developers, and testers, across BAU and project work.
