    Reporting to the CIO and responsible for the delivery of the majority of the Allianz program of work and enhancements to achieve strategic goals and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities included reporting to the Allianz Group on Program Performance, reporting to the Board of Management and Risk Committees on matters arising, close working relationship with Corporate Project Office for all project initiation, project reporting, prioritisation and resolution of resource contention. Actively work with AZTech, the key Allianz Infrastructure delivery partner to ensure stability of environments and successful project and program delivery. - Active leadership involvement in the migration of the Disaster Data Centre and the migration to a new Identity Access Management System.The direct team of Program Managers, Project Managers, Business Analyst and Testers (onshore and offshore) is in excess of 200. Developers are sourced from the internal development teams and vendors as required. Major achievements- Appointed as Acting CIO from October 2021 to April 2022 following the resignation of the incumbent CIO while a replacement was being recruited- Actively involved in the leadership of the Allianz Australia Program to consolidate all of IT under the Global Allianz Technology company AZTech - successfully transferred 1/1/2023- Actively involved in the program to integrate Westpac Home business into Allianz following the Westpac acquisition - Migration of the Core Underwriting and Claims Systems from the Mainframe to the X86 platform resulting in material cost savings - 3 year program of work- Migration of the entire business to a new Workplace Platform at the start of the COVID Pandemic.- Delivery of the Regulatory program consisting of multiple projects that resulted from the Royal Commission into Ban king, Superannuation and Financial Services industry.- Growing the Project and Program delivery team 4 fold over 18 months from 2018 to meet business demand

The SBU’s were supported by 5 Corporate Service teams, one of which being Systems and Projects.Responsibilities included the delivery of all application system needs for Vero. The role covers all aspects of application systems delivery including Systems Strategy, Systems Development and Support and Project Delivery. Key achievements included- Creating a Systems and Projects Team closely aligned with the business - Overall responsibility for delivery of Vero’s program of projects most notable being: - Core Mainframe System consolidation ($12m over 3 years) - Rebranding Vero ($11m over 18 months) - New Enterprise Product launch ($5m over 15 months) - Financial Services Reform (FSR) for the Retail business ($2.5m over 12 months) - Web product development for SME business ($4m over 18 months) - Management Information Systems development ($1.5m per year ongoing)
