For nearly 20 years, Musurlian served in managerial and hands-on roles in video production for "The Burbank Channel," the government access channel for the City of Burbank. From 2013 to 2018, as the world of content creation changed, most of Musurlian's work involved shooting, writing, and editing shorter-form videos for television and, increasingly, social-media platforms. From 2013 to 2016, some of his most substantial work was done on the Emmy®-nominated magazine program, "Burbank On Demand." Prior to its cancellation, that program also won Golden Mikes and a Los Angeles Press Club Award. From 1999 to 2013, Musurlian produced, shot, wrote, anchored, and edited more than 60 episodes of "Burbank Magazine," a quarterly public affairs program, which was nominated for two Los Angeles Area Emmys®, competing against the best, big-budget shows in the country's second largest media market. Overall, work on "Burbank Magazine" garnered six such Emmy® nominations."Burbank Magazine" also won 14 RTNA Golden Mike Awards, in such categories as: Best Public Affairs Program, Best Serious Feature Reporting, Best Light Feature Reporting, Best Business & Consumer Reporting, Best Documentary, Best Sports Reporting, Best Entertainment Reporting, Best Feature Videography, Best Feature Editing, Best News Videography and Best News Editing.During his two-decade tenure in Burbank, Musurlian received 10 Los Angeles Area Emmy® nominations and 10 Los Angeles Press Club nominations, while also winning three Emmys® and 24 RTNA Golden Mike Awards.The RTNA is: The Radio & Television News Association of Southern California.On June 30, 2019, Musurlian won First Place for Television Videography for his 53-minute documentary, "Holocaust Soliloquy." The Globalist Films-produced effort ran on KLCS, the Los Angeles PBS station which also received co-producer credit.

He reported primarily from Hungary, but also filed reports from Croatia and Bosnia. As an Army Spec4, Musurlian was awarded an Army Commendation Medal and the NATO Medal. Musurlian also has the obscure distinction of being the first American to ever shoot video on the floor of the Hungarian Parliament (in session), while dressed in full U.S. Army BDUs.
