    Event Manager | August 2019 – Present I Establish and maintain coordination and communication with the hirer to elaborate and work on the event as well as review event requirements. I also ensure events receive appropriate, client-focused service from all Production Services departments and other operations areas through effective service delivery management. In relation to stage management, audio/visual, lighting, staging and wardrobe, I liaise with Production Services departments to communicate hirer’s event production requirements. After an event, I gather data and feedbacks to be used for evaluation of service delivery, then forward recommendations to the organisation through formal processes. Finally, I proactively participate and contribute to achieving and sustaining effective and efficient operation and growth of the Production Services Unit management.

    TECHNICAL MANAGER - STAGING | The Esplanade Company Ltd, Singapore // May 2001 – May 2012 As the Head of Staging, I conducted recruitment and screening as well as arranged and facilitated training for staging staff. I managed the acquisition of staging equipment as well as set up the equipment as required. Part of the responsibilities were the development and implementation of policies and procedures, coordination and negotiation with theatre consultants (TPC), architects (DPA), main contractor (Penta Ocean), Project Managers along with the main Stage Engineering Contractor, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and their Automation Subcontractor Bytecraft Automation.Collaborated with all operational departments ranging from Customer Service, Security, Property, Engineering and right through to Programming, Finance and Marketing. Besides the aforementioned, I executed technical management with the responsibility of collating requirements from Hirers and Programmers as well as implementing the given requirement into the venues. In such responsibility, I developed and implemented comprehensive training programs for staff comprising of Safe Work at Height, Safe Use of Elevated Work Platforms, Introduction to Workplace Health & Safety, Safe Use of Power Tools, Introduction to Staging and Introduction to Theatrical Rigging. I also performed other related duties such as selection, training and rostering of Staging, Automation, Rigging
