Gallup Certified Strengths Coach
-
May 2016 - Present
As a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, and former Fortune 500 executive who led multinational teams, I work with individuals to help them understand, develop, and “aim” their natural strengths and talents so they can enjoy more fulfilling professional and personal lives. Here’s how it works: After an introductory session, I set you up to take the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment. When completed, you will access four reports. One report ranks your talent themes from most dominant (1) to least dominant (34.) A comprehensive report expresses your talents across four leadership categories: strategic thinking, relationship building, influencing, and executing. Then, I guide you through a customized process to help you:• Clearly understand your dominant strengths (and the lesser ones you want to keep from getting in the way of your success)• Gain a deep knowledge of your top 10 strengths and how they relate to each other• Identify 1-3 key strengths that are worth developing, and create a roadmap for how to do so• Develop effective ways to talk about your strengths to improve outcomes in job interviews, conversations with bosses and colleagues, and personal relationships• And, finally, “aim” all this work to help you achieve your goals. The bottom line is that there are patterns to how we are wired. Doing a deep dive into what they are; being careful to watch out for talent blind spots; and determining how to best align ourselves to them is what helps us have the greatest impact. My goal, through conversation, is to help an individual advance toward an elegant equilibrium among strengths, interests, and aptitudes. If you are interested in learning more, please contact me.
