Reviews and evaluates contractor deliveries of logistics data. Provides guidance to the contractor and feedback on logistics subject areas to the appropriate Project Director, Product Manager. Prepares and justifies budget requirements for logistics support. Supports system evaluation, testing, and fielding efforts including Validation/Verification of technical publications, New Equipment Training, and Physical/Functional Configuration Audits. Coordinates with other offices to arrange for sustainment management functions after fielding. Continually monitors and evaluates the logistics posture of the supported program to prevent issues from arising. Develops corrective action plans as needed and oversees implementation to resolve complex problems independently. Develops logistics policies for the PEO. Serves as a subject matter expert and provides direction and guidance to lower level Logistics Management Specialists as needed. Provide mentoring and coaching within the workplace.
