As ToolroomTeam leader I help run a fully qualified team of engineers in the design , manufacture and maintenance of bespoke PU and injection moulding tooling, and new technology PU rotary machines for our production facility.As a Team Leader I haveImplimented Lean Teir processes within the engineering department.Highlighted inefficiencies, and spearheaded investment in new CNC machinery, increasing output by 30 percent without increasing manpower.Helped develop a 3rd Generation PU machine, with multiple new technology improvements.Rolled out a training program for direct reports, and implimented a training matrix identifying both business and staff needs.Implimented PPM systems for staff to follow on a rolling basis.Taken responsibility for project management, chairing weekly cross departmental meetings on progress.Freed up the Managing Director's time by taking responsibility for site safety, material specification and procurement, budget responsibility, and communication with other departmental heads to achieve business KPI's.
