    Worked as an internal execution leader with other experts to inventory, remediate and repair metadata database for a $3billion data asset. Identified the root cause of historic data loss that amounted to 20% of the historically acquired data assists. Worked with Weir Consulting to design and execute a data asset management and delivery system which included operational governance, clear roles and responsibilities, a 1,000 Terabyte (Petabyte) on line data repository which can grow now for less than $800 per TeraByte. Cross trained team members that included over 50 people focused on data access. Helped reduced the team to an operational size of less than 10 people. Ultimately we improved data delivery times which in 2008 required 6 days to 6 months. In the last year those delivery times now consistently run from 6 minutes to 6 days, the latter for a 9 terabyte data delivery from external secure media. One of Devon's first successful data management leaders. The practice has now grown into a recognized top performer in data management across the industry. I not only delivered raw and processed data to scientific processes I also advised on linked business and analytic systems.

With technical experience in Oil and Gas starting in 1975 and IT development experience starting professionally in 1977. Work under multiple leaders to make systems and data more accessible for a reasonable price, and to "never lose a data asset". Starting with field automation, supporting inventory control systems, scientific processing, acoustic single processing, systems performance optimization and merging acquired systems, developing governance and standards.
