    I joined a specialist department of Broker Direct called BD Elite, this department has been especially set up to provide an excellent service to the clients as a niche unit. The main aim is to deal with FNOL all the way to settlement of the claim for non fault RTA, PI or ULR recovery.The section I work on is an area where legal expense is sold to brokers for full cover. Due to this I spend the day reporting to the claims manager on the process of the existing claims and doing audits on new claims that are taken to make sure all of them are set up to a correct standard.I have a case load of around 120 files that I deal with as going claims which contain any variation of claims and PI issues that arise

    On a day to day basis I make sure that the work load is allocated out between the department and report back to the manager on the progress of the claims and compile reports for the brokers and referral sources. My main work load surrounds the credit hire report making sure that the on going hire is looked after correctly so there are no mitigation issues when it comes to recovery. Along with recovery of these losses I also deal with full ULR for clients for such things as excess to loss of earnings etc...
