The Quality Assurance Functional Leader (QAFL) must have a perfect understanding of the processes and technical aspects of the equipment, the tasks associated with running the equipment and what it means to be a leader in the organization. Individual must have a good understanding of all QA requirements in regards to validating new processes as well as maintaining existing QA procedures. Individual must be able to communicate (verbally and written) to the Department and team members in order to improve their level of understanding when interfacing with QA requirements. Lotion QAFL will be accountable for ensuring that all operating teams are held accountable for following QA rules and procedures. Individual will also be responsible for making decisions, leading investigations and providing necessary input in case of any QA outages (OOS batches, micro OOS results, purified OOS water, steaming out to date, etc). In addition to daily tasks and improvements individual will be accountable for representing Lotion Dept. from QA standpoint, which includes being an active member of SIP team, representing Lotion Dept. during QA audits and being a single point of contact in case of any QA related questions.
