Retrieving different dimensions and weights of rolls that are stacked in the warehouse anywhere from 6 to 8 rolls high. Proper techniques of roll removal consisted of a stack of 2 rolls at a time for the purpose of saving time and then there afterwards placed out of the way on the floor in order not to create any obstruction of oncoming traffic. I had the ability to have 2 stacks of 2 rolls each on the floor and relocate them into the scanner to their new locations and then mechanically remove and relocate in the pancake position.

    Working on a line where multiple streams of hot liquid plastic poured out of nozzles into a bath of cold water where it's hardened into strings of plastic and continuously feeds throughout and into a grinder where it is funneled into a valve and it is produced into pellets and poured into a plastic lined corrugated container also known as a gaylord. Before the corrugated container is full, the grinder is turned off from two switches from left to right, then a forklift is utilized for the removal of a full corrugated container and replacement of an empty corrugated container and the grinder is turned back on from both switches again, this time in the opposite direction, from right to left.

    A fun and fast paced environment in production and manufacturing. Rotating older cages and palletized cartons of materials, such as rings and bottoms of different sizes and makes. Relocating stock to the assembly lines from the warehouse in accordance to the description on the production sheet and quantities to be run for that shift and leaving the newer stock behind. Also keeping in mind to keep yourself ahead of the game so you can switch from one job to another without any stoppages. When necessary utilizing new cages and or re-palletized cartons of materials into the ovens for curing purposes,(metal tends to sweat out of production and is useless and will not conform, when being fitted together on the assembly lines and eventually being rejected) when there is no availability of older stock. All sizes and makes of metal rings and bottoms have different scheduled amount of time sitting in the oven from as little as 35 minutes-to-4 hours. Therefore relocating the aforementioned in a holding area as not to crowd the assembly area where the cans are being assembled. Also when you have time, you go into the warehouse and reorganize all the stock into a tight fit and creating more open areas for stock that continuously comes out of production. Providing assistance on the assembly floor and line areas, as transferring and setting up cages as well as breaking down skids of cartons of materials on the rollers near each and every individual line consistently so there isn't any down time. Having consideration by volunteering to take over for the floor material handlers, so they're able to take breaks and lunch. Also the removal of assorted containers of recyclable rejected cans and or scrap materials transported with certain forklifts with attachments and dumped into a collective dumpster outside of the warehouse in a designated area where they are stored for pick-up. Also a directive, when the materials are evidently non existent or where there is a shortage.
