      My view on life has been immensely shaped by the loss of my wife, after being her caregiver for seven years. She was 32 years old and six months pregnant with our third little boy when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. It became my life’s mission to fill her days with so much love that her pain from treatment would fade away. We quickly started to value experiences and creating positive memories over tangible things. We took numerous vacations with friends and family that we might not otherwise have taken. Words can’t express how much I cherish those memories now.During those vacations, we always stayed in hotels, and what we found was that while hotels are a great option for people traveling as singles or couples, they were challenging for groups or when we took the children. Eating out as a group or with children is also hard. Finding a reservation for a large party, splitting up the bill, finding parking; the hassle was robbing us of the joy of just being together. What we really needed was a large luxury home with all the amenities at our fingertips - a place with flexible sleeping accommodations, private gathering places, and a well-equipped kitchen.So from there, myluxvaca.com was born. Above all, we believe that life is short and should be lived to the fullest. We value experiences over things, and it's our mission to help good people create lasting memories with friends and family. We do this by taking a white-glove approach to helping luxury vacation homeowners set up and manage their property for short-term rentals, and by providing guests with a world-class end-to-end vacation experience.One life.
