I led a POD of 6 people (2 iOS, 2 Android developers, a QA person and Product Owner) implementing an application for a hospitality company. My POD responsibilities included implementing Foundational and Functional user stories. The project ran as an Agile project, with daily scrum meetings and two-week sprints. There were eight PODs. I was the only on-shore POD lead and developer. All other POD leads and developers are off-shore.My responsibilities include writing user stories, grooming user stories, working closely with the client to understand their requirements, developing components and POCs for the main app using Kotlin and Android Studio. I also support the off shore POD teams. The application utilizes an MVVM architectural pattern. This internal platform was developed to supply single sign on capabilities for Verizon mobile applications running on company owned and personal devices. This application read information from Excel files and loaded it into an Oracle Database for processing. The database information was used to load information into formatted Excel files for updates by department heads.Lead Mobile Developer for a cell tower Inventory Scanner application. This application used a Window Mobile device to scan components within the Cell Tower and transmit the information through the 3G network to the server for further processing.- Awarded a Patent for an Inventory Scanner Process
