    I had a career in advertising and PR. However, when I retired I decided to do only the things that gave me joy and passed it on. I have made cake and desserts since I was six years old. When I was 12 I would take orders from neighbors and make cream puffs in my Mom's kitchen and deliver them. After a while my mother decided I needed to purchase my own ingredients. What a lesson. My mother called these " Patty's Cakes. Upon retirement I studied cake decorating and now I love to take on the hard jobs and make them beautiful and just what the customer wants.
