Currently working on a book describing Descriptive Psychology to everyday folks.Starting investigation into the feasibility of desalinization using Thorium-based reactors or natural gas as prime power sources - given that water shortage is critical all over the world.Heavy involvement in Archeology continues on a volunteer basis.Investigation of approaches in commodities futures trading

In Oil and Gas: Developed reservoir simulators, geophysical systems design, well log modeling, signal processing, forward modelingA highlight was Systems VP for a research company project involving a geophysical processing and interpretation system which was self-aware - that is, it had a model of itself. We had excellent application technology available in most areas, including dispersive wave time series analysis, clustering and classification, and promising methods for solving the elastic wave equation. Developed various types of reservoir simulators in the early days of this activity, starting with methods for solving the 3D heat flow (diffusion) equation. Capillary pressure at interfaces was challenging. In Aerospace: Biomedical data handling, high-level design and implementation of models describing proposed Lunar-Mars missions, communication and tracking knowledge base, conceptual design of 'person-like' robots, image processing and interpretation. The Lunar-Mars mission simulator was based upon conceptual nets described in Descriptive Psychology. Modeling of person-like robots to help the crew also was owing to Descriptive. Information provided for the simulator came from all NASA centers. Most proposed missions were shown to overload the crew after the first three days unless robots were used. Another activity was a knowledge base involving components involved in Communications and Tracking, including properties of various antennas.Volunteer Archeology: Surveys and excavations at various Texas locations, including* San Jacinto Battleground* Gault site near Georgetown - Clovis and Pre-Clovis components * Possible locations for Champ d'Asile, built in 1818 by Napoleon's commanders near Trinity River* Archaic shell midden sites, including one at Pine Gully Park, Galveston Bay* Stephen F. Austin colony at San Felipe, burned in 1836* Possible Jean LaFitte residence in Galveston* Elizabeth Powell site, occupied by Santa Ana's troops in 1836
