    Rewarded with a promotion from Operations Executive to Project Manager within 5 months as I was able to quickly comprehend the business and cope with the increased workload responsibilities accorded to me as an executive. Successfully obtained a fast-tracked Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) Status from The Royal Malaysian Customs for an Italian International Food & Beverage Manufacturer which will allow the company to enjoy annual savings of about 20-25% related to duty exemptions for the import of raw materials, machinery and packaging materials. Successfully managed and conducted a corporate financial due diligence exercise on an Automotive Dealership and a feasibility study on the overall automotive market in Malaysia for a Japanese Automotive MNC looking to invest in Malaysia. Through high level strategic discussions with MITI and MIDA, successfully obtained a pre-packaged tax incentive for a RM 20 Billion investment, for the establishment of the region’s largest steel manufacturing plant in Sarawak. Company CEO specifically appointed me to continue efficient and effective management of the company’s Talent and Manpower Solutions Division. Lead the department by planning and monitoring daily, weekly and monthly project schedules for the project team to adhere to while organizing weekly meetings with the team to ensure constant and consistent communication to ensure that all relevant project details are relayed effectively and timely. Spearheaded the development of the Venture Capital Division within the Company by preparing proposals for funders as well as assisting on the valuation of potential investment opportunities. Voluntarily co-managed the organizing committee for our sister company’s signature annual event – the Human Capital Best Practices Conference and successfully invited and hosted Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the keynote speaker and guest of honor for the conference.

    Company had requested for me to stay on working directly under the CEO and Project Director to coordinate projects within the Foreign Direct Investment Portfolio during my final semester of University. Actively prepared applications for tax incentives and grants which allowed me to gain first-hand knowledge on MIDA requirements and structuring an application to successfully obtain approvals. Offered to take on the challenge of managing the Talent and Manpower Solutions Division; Quickly gained a comprehensive understanding of the various manpower solutions that we provide to companies which enabled me to develop an entire Standard Operating Procedure Manual for day to day operations that would also be used to train future employees within the Division. Thrown into a management position to lead and direct the division efficiently after the departure of the previous manager and managed to overcome difficulties in people management through continuous biweekly personal and professional engagements with the team. Voluntarily authored a submission on our sister company’s practices which allowed us to win the Gold Award for Business Transformation in the 2019 Human Resource Excellence Awards.
