    In Nairobi, Kenya; Accra, Ghana• Produced comprehensive policy outlines for both fiscal policy and front-of-pack labeling policy to guide the drafting of these policies with the aim of discouraging unhealthy diets and encouraging healthy food consumption in Ghana and Kenya.• Developed content for fiscal policy that discourages unhealthy and encourages healthier diets to be presented to the Ministry of Health for Cabinet approval.In Kigali, Rwanda• Led the Fortified Whole Grain (FWG) project’s policy engagement with Government stakeholders to influence the Government decision to switch from refined flour to FWG flour, which is 5 times more nutritious and cost neutral, in the school feeding program with the aim of eradicating malnutrition among 3.4 million school children.• Advised the FWG project’s social marketing team, using my understanding of Rwandan culture and context, on the best way to carry out successful consumer behavioral change campaign that would nudge Rwandan consumers toward shifting from refined flour to fortified whole grain flour consumption.
