Responsibilities in managing MTN’s Records and Archives included: • Manage Mobile Records, and Channels & Distribution’s Sim registration project data centres (Eight Regional centres) country wide;• Coordinate and manage the establishment of records management program, policies, procedures, business process flows, and establish control checks to ensure accuracy, safety and timely access and retrieval, improve TATs and output;• Coordinate training with the Training Manager for all regional records team members;• Provide leadership for records and archival document management and guide departments on management on records and information management practice;• Manage the entire process for the handling of collected mobile money subscriber and agent records, and subscribers documents, converting the paper based records to digital forms (electronic), updating them on the system, and archiving them securely safely in line with statutory requirements of the documents life cycle;• Ensure safe storage and disaster recovery of documents;• Periodic checks at the eight regional data centres to ensure records management practice and databases are in line with standard practices, policies and procedures;• Ensure periodic records audits as checks and balances to determine level of records management practice in place as compared to standard practices in compliance with business risk policies and service level agreement provision;• Maintain an updated database of fully registered mobile money subscribers and agents on the SharePoint platform, as stipulated by the Bank of Uganda (Central Bank) KYC requirements;• Prepare accurate statutory requirements and returns report to the Head of Mobile Money and Public Access Division for continual submission to Central Bank as stipulated by Bank of Uganda; and • Managing all public access products records securely also form part of my responsibilities.

Job Role:-To coordinate Registry users and provide management services for effective running of the registry.Key Responsibilities: - 1. General supervision of staff in both Security and Open Registry Sections;2. Updating the Personal and subject files as required;3. Initiating creation of new files;4. Prepare work plans for receiving, processing, storage and retrieval of records, and budget preparation for the Registry;5. Ensure timely action on correspondences, filing of records and delivery of mails; 6. Creating Records and Information Management Systems (RIMS) policy and procedures manual for the Commission;Setting up Registries at the District offices of Electoral Commission;Identify weak areas in records and information management and tendering advice to management for improvement;7. Develop retention and disposal schedules for records in the Commission in line with standard records policy;8. Create and manage records Centre; 9. Document and oversee electronic records capture and storage of all records including election management and voters records for the Commission;10. Guide all departments, directorates and districts staff on management of records and information;11. Train departmental secretaries and secretaries at the districts on basic records management procedures and standard and recommended records practices and procedures;12. Carry out regular and periodic records inventory and records audits to ensure that standards and procedures of records and information management practice are adhered to;13. Help in other HR functions in HR department as may be assigned by Head of HR department;14. Participate in Elections and bye elections during presidential, parliamentary, local councils and other elections within the mandate of the Commission;
