    Construction of yeast expression system for biosuccinic acid production.- Application of different primers to express different genes to be used in vector construction using PCR. the vector were transformed into yeast and plasmid extraction were conducted to screen for positive recombinant.Construction of K. lactis knock-out strain for increased biosuccinic acid production with minimal by-products.- The by-products such as lactate can cause a hindrance in producing biosuccinic acid. Several genes were identified for knockout/gene deletion to block metabolic pathways leading to by-products formation. New primers were designed and PCR were used to construct the knock-out cassette.Molecular Identification of fungi and yeast.- Identifying the strains of 8 ambiguous samples by molecular identification. Methods of genomic DNA extraction, PCR, ligation and transformation, followed by plasmid extraction for sequence analysis were conducted.
