My Manufacturing Engineer duties included but were not limited to:-•Creation and maintenance of Manufacturing Departmental Instructions (Standard Operating Procedures).•Compilation of detailed manufacturing process instructions, bills of material, routings, schedules, process times, stage build layouts for complex Armoured Vehicles.•Proactively fulfilling a supporting role to daily manufacturing issues.•Creation and maintenance of Manufacturing Instructions from a 3D model environment using Teamcenter NX9 CAD software and Microsoft Visio.•Identification of special tools and test equipment along with design input for jigs and fixtures.•Leading a small Manufacturing Engineering team and deputising for shop floor team leader absences.•Raising manufacturing change requests and engineering change proposals to improve product quality.•Active role in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
