    Prior to his retirement and transition to a part-time position, Norm served for many years as Director of Pharmacy Services at two Baltimore area hospitals, has practiced hospital pharmacy for more than 50 years in Massachusetts and Maryland, including the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and has held concurrent part-time positions at CVS/Caremark and other retail pharmacies. He has served as President of the Maryland Society of Health-System Pharmacists and as Assistant Editor of the Maryland Pharmacists Journal. He also held the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and has held District Positions in Toastmasters International. Norm has published many articles in the professional literature as well as histories related to his profession. He obtained his MBA degree from the University of Baltimore in 1980. Norm is also a graduate of the Famous Photographer's School of Connecticut and has won awards for and published several of his photographs. He is a former member of the Boston Philatelic Society and an avid tennis player.
