My Role: I am holding the position of a MIS Lead - Budgeting and Analysis, reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager and General Manager. As a MIS Lead, I am responsible to ensure accurate and timely Corporate Banking reporting. My Main responsibilities: Preparing departmental MIS of Corporate Banking Group and reporting of financial results to the Top Management on monthly basis including comparison with monthly budgeted and actual results. Prepare and analyze the daily Portfolio movement of fund of corporate portfolio and investigate abnormal variances. Prepare and analyze the Monthly Portfolio movement of deposits of corporate portfolio. Engage in divisional budgeting activity of Corporate Banking and ensure timely allocation of corporate budget to the divisions / Staff including monitoring achievement. Modeling & analysis of business dashboards to support the decision making process of GM Corporate Banking and Top management. Monitor and analyze the monthly movement of yield and cost of fund of corporate portfolio and investigate abnormal variances. Prepare on quarterly basis expected PD, NPL and legal accounts presentation in coordination with divisional heads of Cooperate Banking Department for Provisioning and Impairment committee. Assist in timely review and update of Corporate Banking Department Policies and Procedure in order to align with current banking practices. Engage with auditors in the Internal and External and External audit functions and agreed upon procedures. Engage with implementation teams to ensure successful completion of the system change requirements like core banking system, IFRS reporting infrastructure etc.

Preparation of annual operating budget and Capex budget in coordinating with other departments and ensuring therealistic figure. Review leave salary settlement voucher and final settlement voucher as per Kuwait Labor Law. Analysis of internal operations and suggest a system to overcome internal weaknesses. The review of the accuracy and reliability of the accounting records.
