    The ArtistNikki James and the Flamethrowers - A fiery, rocking blues/R&B group fronted by Nikki James. For seven years, The Flamethrowers were a major part of the vibrant mid ‘90s blues scene that performed regularly at Michigan's top blues venues as well as numerous festivals. Winner of two Detroit Music Awards, they were nominated many times.Mark Pasman's Supersessions - A spontaneous, continuously revolving line-up of Detroit "All Stars" that changes at every session, Nikki James has participated in – and was recorded in – a number of these sessions since 2005. Mark Pasman was the Blues Radio DJ at 94.7 FM WCSX. His radio show "Anything Blues Will Do" aired every Sunday Night for 26 years.Jim McCarty & Friends - James hired McCarty and his band Mystery Train to complete a portion of the Flamethrowers’ 1998 touring schedule. She began working with McCarty occasionally beginning in 2000.
