Numerical Investigations of High Speed Flows over Single/Double Wedge Ramps.- ANSYS CFX based simulations were created for high speed flows on a flat plate, single &double wedge ramps at different Mach numbers. - The position and strength of shock thus formed due to boundary layer interaction and the amount of viscous dissipation within the boundary layer were analyzed qualitatively at different free stream Mach numbers. - The effects of flow heating by the wall were observed by plotting the Stanton Number for numerical and theoretical results along the plate. - The skin friction coefficients of the numerical results were validated against the Van Driest Curves.
