    I joined Iris Insurance Brokers in 2012 to establish a new Delegated Authorities Division, focusing mainly on US and Canadian Property / Casualty business.We are an experienced and innovative Lloyd's Broker, with a strong background across all major classes of business. We transact business from a loyal client base around the world, making Iris Insurance Brokers a truly global broker.Within the Division, we have two main areas of focus, being Coverholder business and Open Market placements. Our Binding Authority business makes up around 60% of our book, where we excel at helping our clients grow their Lloyd's portfolio. We are experienced binding authority managers, with a team of dedicated technicians & claims brokers to ensure that all business is smoothly transacted. We are adept at understanding trends in your book, and in the marketplace, which we feel gives us a competitive edge when it comes to improving, manipulating and growing your binding authority portfolio.As well as established Coverholders, we are equally comfortable helping new Coverholders, and clients wishing to become a Lloyd' s Coverholder for the first time. Whilst we may share goals with other Lloyd's Brokers, we are unique in our client-centric approach, using a combination of our own facilities & the open market to help our clients generate traction.We also conduct much of our business in the Lloyd's open market, where we place everything from small vanilla business to risks that others may consider hard to place. We recognise the need for our clients to be able to solve problems for their customers, and we go the extra mile to help find solutions. Some of our biggest successes haven't been the biggest accounts; we find great satisfaction in placing business for our clients that help make a difference to their reputation and standing.We handle all lines of Property/ Casualty business, ranging from Products Liability, E&O and D&O, to non-standard Property, EIL and Cyber.
