     Executive position in Technology & Operations Division (T&O), interfacing directly with the CTO to help bridge his executive vision with the operational leaders in T&O to ensure strategic targets are achieved through the execution of tactical and operational projects and initiatives. Led the implementation of a Game Plan governance system that enabled the CTO to track alignment and progress between Strategy and Project & Initiative execution. Built and chaired the Technology Review Board (TRB), which was the decision maker for all Technology related decisions, such as architectural standards, investment strategy, vendor selection, POC and project initialization. Interfaced with internal business units to assess demands and translate those into the Technology roadmap for the year. Led the annual budgeting exercise categorizing into existing commitments, future demand, strategic investments and petty spend, and ensuring spend discipline whilst facing a tough budget situation.

     Leadership position in Technology & Operations Division (T&O), interfacing with all Technology managers and heads, to ensure all technology projects are executed successfully. Leading a team of 10 project managers, helped deliver over 25 successful projects across a variety of technologies, applications and platforms. Established a fast track project management framework to address the backlog of business-critical projects that I inherited. Built and maintained a Project Portfolio dashboard to manage the status, objectives, timelines, risks and deliverables of key Technology projects. Worked closely with Corporate PMO division to ensure Civil and Technology projects were aligned and executed successfully. Led the implementation for a $133M global fiber and MPLS network that connected Al Jazeera’s broadcast centers and bureaus enabling for global connectivity for all broadcast and enterprise IT services. Led the implementation for a $15M private cloud implementation, taking the project from feasibility to realization, enabling the virtualization of key Broadcast and IT services, bringing$M savings in Hardware & Datacenter Costs. Led the implementation of a Technology Game Plan governance system that enabled the CTO to track alignment and progress between Strategy and Project & Initiative execution. Member of Al Jazeera Children Channel Separation Committee: The committee is responsible to take all the necessary action legally, financially, contractually ...etc. to separate AJC and merge it with beIN Sports. Member of Al Jazeera Day Committee: The committee is responsible for all the required preparation for the event (Al Jazeera Day)
