I worked on several projects that aimed to understand the drinking behaviors of underage youth and reduce the associated harms. My responsibilities included monitoring televised and online advertisements for problematic content; designing a quantitative study of social media advertisements, including the development of a coding system and the training of a secondary coder; analyzing and reporting on data from the CDC's Youth Risk Behavior Survey using STATA; conducting literature searches to inform our work; and preparing manuscripts for publication.
