    At my host institute, Building Health Lab (BHL), under the mentorship of Alvaro Valera Sosa, I assisted in developing methods to evaluate urban scenes under the UrbanCare framework; identifying site-specific problems that need to be addressed for urban regeneration. During my tenure as a Humboldt fellow at BHL I conducted site surveys for urban heat, stormwater runoff, biotope loss, and spatial inequity. Consequently, I developed expertise in urban thermal imagery and analyses using the FLIR thermal camera and software such as FLIR + tools.
