Designing, analyzing, leading and building structural components of a radio-controlled UAV for an inter-university competition (AIAA Design/Build/Fly Competition) with a team of 40 members.Role of lead engineer for the UAV payload subsystem, managing a team of 6 people in designing and integrating our payload design solution in the aircraft systems.Skills used include high-level communication (teamwork) with other lead engineers and team members, project management, the engineering design process, and the usage of various tools (i.e. MS Teams, Trello). The designed payload system is a mechanism that allows box payload packages to be deployed incrementally during each UAV touch and go in the mission. The design proposal ranked 22 out of 127 in the world for the 2021/2022 competition, however, due to covid lockdown and university-limited facilities access situations, the team unfortunately, was not able to proceed beyond the design stage.

Worked as an unpaid engineering project consultant in a team of 5.Over 200 hours of work was put into the project, and acted as the group project leader and manager, involving lots of time, task, and team management skills. This project connected me with 4 other brilliant-minded Engineering Students from different universities, where we acted as project consultants. We engaged in research and analysis on topics outside of our expertise for a startup Australian company, looking to make a change in the Feminine Hygiene Product industry's environmental impact. The program provided me with a great opportunity to experience a real-world industry problem, where I can apply my knowledge, skills, and abilities learnt over the duration of my Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering, as well as my self-taught design skills throughout my academic journey.
