    → Developed and tested antibacterial formulations for surface coatings to be used on medical devices and implants, agricultural protection from harmful bacteria/fungi, and general surface protection → Natural ingredients, particularly Thymol and Zein combinations used, provide antibacterial activity along with biodegradation properties. → Tested formulations on stainless steel, polypropylene, titanium, and glass surfaces. → Performed bacterial tests, contact-angle tests, microplate absorption readings → Was able to conclude desired concentrations that demonstrated 100% efficiency in eliminating P.A. and S.A. bacteria strains.

    Took up responsibilities of process and operations engineer over the 16 months at Solvay→ Lead over 15 projects of major and minor priorities relating to process system improvement to enhance safety, historical data trending and analysis for production changes, and various day-to-day tasks. → Demonstrated adaptability and eagerness to take up responsibility through involvement with daily priorities.→ Logged over 30 MOCs for minor to major site modifications. → Lead and organized PSSR field verifications for physical site changes with HSE engineer, operator, and pipefitter→ Lead two Pressure Safety Valve projects from design to install phases as a PHA action item to protect piping from rupture due to high-pressure build-up above MAWP. PSV sizing calculations were performed for the intended purpose and compared with vendor-sized PSV. Install location was discussed and finalized with the project engineer, process engineer, and contractors. Used on-site ASME pipe specifications to determine desired associated fittings. P&ID updates made to show changes.→ Developed equipment layout designs by obtaining rigorous measurements, estimate layout drawings, and conducting design reviews with operations and maintenance team for new unit operations installed on-site as part of system-development project for new product on-site→ Responsible for onboarding new engineer to site software, OEE analysis, and lost time tracking → Improved batch sheets and SOPs for products to incorporate detailed operator steps which were able to significantly decrease reliance on technical support thereby increasing production efficiency. →Developed programming control narrative with Digital Control System steps and actions defined. Conducted weekly meetings with process control engineers to improve narrative to better help translate narrative to Functional Design Specifications.
