As the sole physical security inspector/manager for the 4th Infantry Division, Provost Marshal Office, I was responsible for the entire physical security protocols of all military equipment (Abrams Tanks, weapons of all calibers, helicopters, wheeled vehicles, etc.) in the 4th Infantry Division in excess of $500 million, through scheduled and unscheduled physical security inspections ensuring strict adherence to Army regulations and Department of Defense (DOD) physical security manuals. As the force protection manager was responsible for mass evacuation of military personnel and their families under emergency conditions due to natural disasters or installation duress. As the Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Manager I was responsible for the facilitation of emergency evacuation plans through direct coordination with local agencies (Police Dept., FBI, Public School Systems, Public Transportation, Department of Public Works, etc.) and the training exercises of such plans to rehearse, assess and analyze plan implementation and processes. Managed, organized and implemented Anti-Terrorism Force Protection initiatives ensuring the security of Mission Essential Vulnerable Areas (MEVA's).

As a military police officer, I protected lives and property of military installations at U.S. home base and overseas (international) assignments. Through the enforcement of military laws and regulations (to include International Law) while performing duties such as access control stations, traffic enforcement, traffic accident response/reports, emergency response (domestic disturbance, homicide, sexual assault, assault and battery, etc.), crime investigations (property theft, damaged property, vandalism, etc.), detention operations (DUI, Hit and Run, Spousal Abuse, etc.), and watch commander operations (controlled daily reported activities within military installations). I was trained in Counter-Terrorism and was the Emergency Preparedness Manager.

As a special reaction team member I provided a tactical response to emergency situations to quell the intended threat to include (barricaded criminals with hostages, sniper incidents, counterterrorist operations, VIP protection, etc.). As an SRT member I was specially trained and armed to isolate, contain, gather information for, and, if necessary, neutralize the immediate threat. During performance of a threat situation it would include the protection of innocent lives (bystanders), hostages, law enforcement and emergency personnel, and suspects to include the apprehension of offenders.
