At Eveve, I've gained experience in just about every area of a SaaS-style company. As a very lean company with staff located internationally, my job has taken on many different facets. Of course, I've done plenty of work with client retention and sales, but it is not limited to just that. I put in 30 hours a week as a support line operator, I do technical training for new staff members, I've installed and trained over 20 new clients, and written internal training and reference materials for the company. In addition to standard product support, we also offer consulting for our account-managed clients, and in this capacity I've helped devise and implement strategies for social media, web development, search engine optimization, and more efficient system usage for a number of clients, both large and small, local to international.

As Marketing Intern with Hell's Kitchen, I was assigned specific projects to see through to fruition. For example, I worked on a project to revitalize our Happy Hour sales, which involved starting with general trends/best practice research, then hands-on local competitor research, data analysis/synthesis, and finally recommendations for future changes. I work with high levels of autonomy under our President, and give professional presentations to our management team. I am also present and involved with general management discussions and meetings. While my formal scheduled work with Hell's Kitchen has ended, I will occasionally advise and consult on projects as necessary.

Training Director/Volunteer Coordinator
-
Jun 2014 - May 2015
As Training Director/Volunteer Coordinator with Radio K, I really wore two hats. First of all, as Volunteer Coordinator, I was the first point of contact for anybody looking to get involved with the station. Students would reach out to me, and I would provide information about the station, station tours, volunteer opportunities, and more. On the less tangible side of things, I was also responsible for being the first public "face" of Radio K to potential volunteers. This means I needed to be open, friendly, and inviting, and make sure the station never presented itself as intimidating for new volunteers. I also managed our Listserv database through which we sent informational emails to all Radio K staff and volunteers.Second, as Training Director, I had the specific job of organizing and teaching DJ Training classes three times a year. This involved tracking volunteers' service hours, writing and sending out applications, coordinating times, creating syllabi, and of course, teaching the classroom sessions and supervising the hands-on practice sessions. Class sizes ranged from as few as 5 people to as many as 40, and classes involved creatively, informatively, and efficiently teaching everything from technical equipment operation, to FCC legal guidelines, to station standards, to general public speaking skills and best practices.

Music Reporter
-
Jan 2014 - Jun 2014
Radio K's Culture Queue is a magazine-style arts and culture reporting show that airs new content weekly. As Music Reporter, I had the same job as any other producer on the show, but with a focus on music. This means creating air-able content from start to finish. I would come up with an idea for a piece, workshop it with other producers, find interview subjects (at least two per story), carry out the interviews, write and record voiceover scripts, and use ProTools to digitally edit and craft engaging, thoughtful, and entertaining radio stories. I averaged 2-3 pieces per month.
