Earlier years service as a Collection Officer for JHH/Patient Accounting, Outpatient billing and follow-up on third party insurance accounts until paid. Transfer co-pay balances to Self Pay. During this era we had a cycle billing system mostly manual, patient account documentation was recorded on hard cards clear and concise recording was critical. You had to be organized, accurate and timely in processing your responsible cycle.
