Served as a member of the Human Resources Department of a major Minneapolis law firm. Oversaw administration of attorney recruitment, working with the selection committee and being the liaison between the firm and law schools, students and potential lateral attorney hires. Maintained data and statistical information and compiled annual reports and registration forms required by law schools and legal associations. Coordinated and managed the extremely time-sensitive, fast-paced annual law school interview season with 20 or more law schools across the country. Managed the logistics, interview arrangements and schedules for 100's of law students and laterals traveling to the law firm for interviews each year. Followed up with interview/data collection and streamlined the selection committee's consideration process. Supported and assisted with the summer associate program logistics and structure, including attaining summer housing for 20 plus law students. Gathered data and review information on completed summer associate projects to aide in hiring decisions on summer associates for future summer or post graduation offers of employment. Firm grew from 20 to over 250 lawyers with offices nationwide and overseas. Additionally provided assistance with general staffing and supervision of administrative staff for a period of time.
