I spent 16 years at Motown Records & Motown Productions after being introduced to the company while working for Sammy Davis Jr. Having various jobs from Editor of the company Newsletter, Comotion, to directing Music Videos for Rick James, Marvin Gaye and the Commodores, I become a creative contributor for all Berry Gordy's priority projects. I managed recording artist "Charlene" and was instrumental in signing Rick James to Motown in 1978.I worked on the feature films, "Lady Sings the Blues" & "Mahogany" and did vintage footage editing and clearance for the NBC special, "Motown's 25th Anniverary". Michael Jackson awarded my position as Associate Director on his lifetime biography, "The Legend Continues".
