Purpose : To ensure that MEST facilities are operating effectively and efficiently and in line with values. To support leadership in ensuring all MEST members and partners have the best experience possible and become ambassadors for MEST. Key Responsibilities : To efficiently and effectively manage day to day operations including administration, invoices, transport, food, working space, internet and other relevant elements.To determine operating budget and work with head of faculty, Country Director and head of operations to sign off and allocate across budget period. Manage and monitor variance and flag issues to appropriate manager. To manage vendors including negotiating SLA’s and reviewing in a timely manner. Ensure all procurement processes are in place and followed with any variance being escalated appropriately.To drive quality standards across internal staff and external partners with regular feedback/evaluation against set metrics and plans in place to address shortfall and celebrate success. To continually drive efficiency with clear processes and automation of same. To provide all necessary information and ensure communication is timely and effective for operations onboarding of new MEST Members who will be working in MEST spaces.To be go to person for any issues/concerns/complaints and then appropriately handle or escalate ensuring appropriate documentation and follow up.

I was part of the Research and Development team and responsible for annotating videos, basically drawing bonding boxes and labelling them in order to train the camera to track their movement and direction in the store. These activities are a part of Machine Learning tools, used in Artificial Intelligence. The “training” of the camera helped the stores reduce theft, increase sales and productivity. It also informed the store manager and employees about instore traffic and product placement optimization.
