    Responsible for ensuring effective implementation and monitoring of WASH Service Delivery Activities in Eastern and Muchinga Provinces of Zambia. In order to ensure this, the following activities are my key tasks;-Ensure effective monitoring of UNICEF-funded end-use, private sector, construction, and behavior change work at the sub-district level.-Engage with provincial and district government counterparts regarding UNICEF WASH activities.- Act as a liaison with partners leading handwashing, menstrual hygiene, sanitation, and private sector engagement.-Facilitate sub-district, district, and provincial-level work for UNICEF contractors and consultants.-Provide oversight to 2 Consultants and 3 Contractors to implement the borehole drilling and rehabilitation of 267 boreholes in 19 Districts of 3 Provinces (Eastern, Muchinga and Central) and construction of 3 Demo Sites for Sanitation Marketing (showcasing 5 low cost sanitation technologies) in 3 Districts of Muchinga Province-Serve as the knowledge management focal point for the WASH section. This entails conducting knowledge management activities such as summarizing information in graphic format, mapping locations of work for donor reports, writing monitoring reports and contributing to SharePoint tracking documents/files.-Develop partnerships and agreements with Potential NGOs to support the implementation of WASH Activities.-Serve as a focal point to support and facilitate the implementation of capacity development activities for WASH for an International NGO (CARE International) to train 387 VWASHEs in 11 Districts of 5 Provinces and a Local NGO (VAREN) to train 448 WPCs, 150 APMs, 52 EHTs and 23 DWASHEs in 5 Provinces.- Review BOQ submissions by Contractor and Review Consultant Proposals for recommendations. - Serve as Focal Point for UNICEF/Japan Emergency Interventions in Eastern Province (Cholera Risk Communication and Community Engagement/ WASH IPC in health care settings).
