    Station: Transmission Circle, Kalamassery, Kerala state electricity board Ltd (KSEBL)Responsibilities:a) Installation, testing and commissioning of Substation Automation System (SAS)of two number of 220kV substation construction project done by M/S GE Energy, INDIA.b) Designed, Tested and Commissioned the “RTU based automation system of 33kV GIS containerized substation” located at Thammanam and is controlled remotely from 110kV substation Kaloor including the surveillance system.c) Designed, Tested and Commissioned the “Remote operation of 220kV substation Ambalamugal from 220kV substation Brahmapuram” by extending the SAS operator workstation through existing wide band optical fiber link.d) Installation, testing and commissioning of 11 numbers of 110kV bays of Digital substation at 220 kV substations Kalamassery and this project is the first project in India by GE Grid solutions. All CT, PT termination done in Merging unit installed in the yard and only fibre network from merging unit to IEDs and Servers.e) Installation, testing and commissioning of Substation Automation System (SAS)of 66kV GIS substation construction project done by Siemens India Ltd, KSEB, INDIA.f) Designed the scheme and prepared the specification of surveillance system for 220kV substation Ambalamugal and 220kV substation Brahmapuram.g) Designed the scheme and prepared the specification and implemented the Extension of Present SCADA work station from Solar Control Room to Edayar Substation Control Room with Operational facilities including surveillance system.h) Designed the scheme and prepared the proposal for digital substation of 12 number of 220kV bays at 220kV substation Brahmapuram.

    Station: State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC) Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd. Kerala State Electricity Board Load Dispatch Centre had a very good SCADA system (GE Harris-UNIX platform) since 2000 and the same is replaced 2013 by ALSTOM E-terra SCADA under the project “Replacement/up-gradation of SCADA/EMS System of SRLDC, APTRANSCO, PUDUCHERY and KSEB, INDIA with POWER GRID INDIA Ltd is the technical consultant”.SCADA subdivision is the back bone of SLDC operations, so outage of any servers, workstations, DCPCs and RTUs has to be reinstated to service without affecting the SLDC operation in 24x7 hour basis with the support of Alstom T&D AMC team.Responsibilities:a) Attended all of the project review meetings including kick of meeting conducted by Alstom T&D Ltd in the presence of the consultant, Power Grid Cooperation of India.b) Attended all onsite and offsite training program of E-terra SCADA/EMS system conducted by Alstom T&D Ltd.c) Attended factory Acceptance Test of E-terra SCADA/EMS System at Alstom T&D Ltd.d) Attended Site Acceptance Test of E-terra SCADA/EMS System at SLDC, KSEB done by Alstom T&D Ltd.e) Attended 3 months parallel operation of SCADA/EMS System of Alstom E-terra with SCADA/EMS system of GE Harris-XA-21.f) Attended the 1000hour operational acceptance of Alstom E-terra SCADA/EMS System. g) Attended the SAT of DATA Concentrator cum protocol convertor.h) Integrated 34 numbers of RTUs with DCPC over IEC 67870-5-101 protocol.i) Handling technical talk to KSEBL Engineers at Faculty of Power Engineers Training and Research Centre (PETARC), of KSEBL and Engineering colleges on SLDC SCADA System.
