December 2014 - 2019Nature of Work Involved: Seconded to Donier Seawings GmbH, Germany as Stress Approver for Dornier Seastar CD2 which is expected for First Flight in 2019.As a Lead, I am responsible to estimate man hours (per engineer and overall duration) and head counts required in order to prepare Engineering Co-ordination Memorandum (ECM) to be delivered to customers before the start of a project. The team under my supervision is responsible for developing, integrating and documenting structural requirements to establish the system design which guides the product through the design phase and verifies the structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product life cycle. As a lead, I also have to ensure that the on-going project progress are on track (Task Manager) and also checks on documents certification prepared by the team (Internal Checker) to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies so that requirements are satisfied. Detailed Dornier Seawings GmbH Related ExperiencesProject: Seastar CD2 Rudder Pedal Assy, Avionics Rack, Wing Fuselage Electrical Harness (Conceptual, Weight Saving and Certification)Activities:• Initiate ECM that contains Scope of Work (SoW), data inputs required in order to start the work and deliverables upon completion of work.• Identify suitable engineers, estimates man hours required and provide quotation for the work to be performed.• Liaise with Structural Approver on agreement of conceptual design or weight saving activities. • Perform checks on structural analysis and technical documents compiled by team members to ensure that regulatory compliances are met
