    My responsibilities at WD is as a failure analysis engineer. I work in the area that focuses on the analysis failure of head and media of a hard disk (hard drive) component. My role is making the analysis for the head and media that suspects any occurred failure.The bad hard disk might come from production,failing quality test, customer return and fail reliability test. For make sure the failure come from head and media it need to test and analysis the data to identify the problem. The head and media functionality are tested using Quasi static test (QST) and dynamic electric test (DET). Lastly making a preparation of the failure analysis data to help future research and development.
