    As an electrical design engineer, I am working with client that is TNB. My responsibilities is doing the design of the protection and control of TNB substation or PMU from voltage level 400V up to 132kV. Most of the job involved such as retrofitting old relay control panel at substation, where i need to replace old scheme to new scheme (Low Impedance BBP), replace old protection relay (Current Diff, Distance, Auto Reclose, REF, Breaker Failure), upgrading old scheme to new scheme(RTU, SCS, Synchronisation panel) and modification of control and protection circuit. Other task is doing site visit for data collection, CAD drawing for new circuits, submission and approval by Client TNB, procurement and preparation of materials and lead the sitework for installation and commmissioning. Lastly is preparation of as built drawing to handover to Client. For management task, I need to prepare work schedule, progress report, MOS presentation, attend meetings manage subcontractors and verify of claims as well as control budget. I also work closely with competent engineer(CE) and received delegation of permit to work from CE at site.
