Pre-Opening 1. Project an image of friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to provide personalized services to all building occupants, workers, and neighbors, whether over the phone or in person. 2. Assist the Director of Security with the responsibility to protect guests, patrons, and associates; their property, hotel property, building, and grounds. Enforce hotel rules, regulations, and policies and the department’s rules, policies, and standards.3. assist at ground-level entrances to ensure smooth pedestrian and vehicular traffic while promoting a welcoming and helpful environment.4. Promote safety awareness and enforcement throughout the hotel to reduce accidents and loss by providing training as required. Initiate and assist with Worker’s Compensation reports. 5. Patrol building noting and correcting safety, security, and fire hazards. 6. Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.7. Assist Training Manager with training in Fire Life Safety, OSHA-required training, TIPS, BBP, Haz-Com, and other safety training.8. Remain informed of current Federal and local laws and regulations related to the hotel, particularly in areas of guest, patron, and employee rights.9. Write comprehensive incident reports and conduct thorough investigations. Maintained report records, assisted and followed up on investigations, and approved reports and logs. Initiates and assists General Liability reports. Promotes loss prevention through training and awareness throughout the building to reduce claims.10. Manage and supervise the day-to-day security force of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel, and property.11. Review and conduct performance evaluations for Security staff.12. Implement all policies and procedures regarding security and safety.
