WORKED AS AN ENUMERATOR FOR THE IDRC FRUIT FLY PROJECT HOUSEHOLD- LEVEL DATA COLLECTION IN ZAMBIA. · Participate in training for data collectors and supervisors and pre-testing of the questionnaire. · Travel to data collection villages sites in Chilanga and Rufunsa districts and interview selected mango growers using Computer Assisted Personal Interviewer (CAPIs). · Record the responses in CAPI and keep records of GPS coordinates of the household residence. · Conduct at least 4 interviews per day (general and/or individual interviews as directed by the supervisor) and submit the data to designated supervisor on daily basis. · Edit the data based on supervisor comments and revisit the household or make callback to the household/individual to verify or complete the data as needed. · Participate in discussions and briefing session with the field team to share challenges faced and measures taken and way forward. · Actively collaborate with the project team members and field workers. Handle the CAPIs (tablets) used for data collection safely and handover all materials to ICIPE staff upon completion of the data collection. · Perform, as the situation will demand, any such duties that will facilitate as far as possible the smooth and secure execution of the data collection activities. · Comply with survey ethics and code of conduct (collect good quality data, keep all information received completely confidential, maintain good relationships with rural· households, etc) · Prepare brief service completion report on observation and challenges faced during data collection
