    Deputy Director of N Square, a multimillion dollar initiative designed to stimulate innovation in the fields of nuclear disarmament, nonproliferation and safety and security. N Square is the brainchild of five of the largest peace and security funders in the United States: The Carnegie Corporation of New York, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Ploughshares Fund, and the Skoll Global Threats Fund. N Square is based on the idea that new forms of cross-sector collaboration—combined with the sheer ingenuity of an engaged public—will enable us to innovate our way to a world free from the risks associated with nuclear weapons and fissile materials.N Square is currently developing a network of innovators, influencers and experts in technology and media. Our goal is to encourage new ideas and attract new technical, human and financial resources to combat nuclear threats. N Square will provide seed funding for some of most promising solutions to emerge from this network.In my role at N Square, my primary functions are managing programs and relationships across our networks, co-creating strategies that drive our desired network outcomes and impact, and budget management ($6M over 4 years). I work closely with an outside evaluator to track success metrics internally and across partnerships to aid in program evaluation and to inform learning and adaptive strategy creation. I also present and facilitate interactive sessions using design/systems thinking and strategic foresight methods. I've facilitated and presented at TED conferences, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, RISD, the National Nuclear Security Administration, the UN International Atomic Energy Agency, and the World Futures Society Summit, among others.www.nsquare.org "Our problems are manmade—therefore, they can be solved by man.
