    As a Paraprofessional, I have had the privilege of working with Kindergarten to 6th-grade students.     When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I was hired as a long-term substitute teacher for a kindergarten class. With the sudden shift to distance learning, I took online courses to learn more about it. These courses gave me a deeper understanding of online education dynamics, including creating and delivering engaging content, using various educational platforms, and interacting with students remotely.I made use of two leading educational platforms: Schoology and Seesaw. Schoology was used to share class materials and assignments, while Seesaw was used to create and share interactive activities. To conduct lessons remotely, I utilized Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. These platforms allowed me to interact with my students in real time and provide feedback on their work.It was challenging but rewarding. It taught me the importance of adaptability, creativity, and resilience in unexpected circumstances.

    As an interior designer based in Mexico, I have gained extensive experience renovating various interior spaces, facades, and patios. All the projects mentioned below were in Mexico, where I worked with a team of expert architects, structural engineers, artisans, and other professionals. I learned a lot from them, and their expertise helped me create some of the most unique spaces I have ever designed. My work involves taking care of every aspect of a project, from creating blueprints to procurement, interior decorating, home facelifting, and staging for rental purposes.One of my most exciting projects was the complete remodeling of Toulouse 902, where I transformed the kitchen, installed engineered wood flooring, painted, furnished, and decorated the entire space. Another project that I am particularly proud of is the complete remodeling of Riachuelo 16, where I installed three full bathrooms and one powder room, renovated the kitchen, laid stone and engineered wood flooring, established a home theater system, structured cabling network for security, furnished the space, and decorated it with shades.In addition to these projects, I also remodeled Arboleda 158, where I renovated the walls, two bathrooms, one powder room, kitchen, patio, facades, energy and structure cabling network, painted, and installed engineered wood flooring, six rooms, window frames, and shades. I worked on Avignon 403, where I transformed the space for rental purposes, and Floresta, where I worked on a condo facade and individual unit facades project and sketches. Finally, I renovated and flipped Alamos 55 for renting purposes.I have the opportunity to capture the beauty and essence of any space through interior design photography.

    I have dedicated my time to various non-profit organizations through voluntary work during my professional journey. At Prop (People Reaching Out People)in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, I provided translation services as a native Spanish speaker for forms, news sheets, and catalogs. In addition, I remotely designed brochures and postcards for advertising tourism in Mexico on behalf of the Mexikanisch-DeutscherKreis in Bayerne.V. in Munich, Germany. Furthermore, I raised donations for Fundación Ach Banomil, which supports educational material for a preschool in a Tzotzil community in Chiapas, Mexico. Lastly, I volunteered in the newborn baby section at Vifac (Vida y Familia A.C.). I introduced a Studio Photography Project for babies in the adoption process and assisted with early stimulation in Naucalpan, Mexico.

Among these were Coca-Cola, Unilever, 3M, Pepsi, the Mexico Ministry of Tourism, Mars, P&G, and Carl's Jr., to name just a few. In addition to overseeing the design projects, I was also responsible for managing large format prepress and ensuring that the final product was of the highest quality. One of my proudest achievements was being the lead designer for the 3M World Expo held in Mexico City, where I could showcase my creative skills and attention to detail on a global stage.

    As a college teacher, I taught Design Software to students from 4th to 8th semesters. The course covered a variety of programs, including Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, Corel Draw, and more. I created a syllabus for a Design and Prepress class as part of my role. I also took the initiative to organize field trips for my students to gain valuable real-life experience in printshops, museums, marketing, and design offices. To enrich my students’ college life, I arranged master classes and conferences with experts, such as lawyers who gave lectures on copyrights and intellectual property and professional designers who shared their experiences and knowledge on the broad field of work for graphic designers.

    I was fortunate enough to have worked at the Museum of Templo Mayor in the heart of Mexico City's downtown. I collaborated with a team of talented designers and received guidance from knowledgeable archeologists and museum curators. Together, we created a children's book that simplifies the museum's exhibits and explains the Aztec culture, beliefs, and way of living in a way that is easy for children to understand. In the book, I created a fictional character based on a real-life archeologist who was working with us.
