Job Responsabilities• Conduct AML /KYC formality reports on questionable accounts and transactions.• Strict compliance with the Local Laws and International best practices.• Prepare quarterly compliance report• Respond to the queries raised by the local regulatory authorities in money laundering and terrorist financing cases.• Respond promptly to any request made by the Enforcement Unit or regulatory authority / Correspondent banks. • Monitor the day-to-day transactions based on the Red Flag Alerts / parameter kept in the system. • Furnish periodic report to Board of Directors about the gaps/findings/corrective actions taken based on the External AML Audit. • Keep record of all correspondence and circulars issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait• Scrutinize and keep a record of all contracts that are signed with correspondents from the perspective of these meeting the CBK requirements.• Direct the development, operations and management of compliance programs.• Attending workshops, seminars and conferences on behalf of Company.• Design, create and update compliance forms and AML/CFT policy & procedures• Coordinating for conducting AML/CFT Training programmers for all the staffs• Educate staff on compliance issues and procedures• Responsible for obtaining and reviewing AML documents with correspondents.

Review all required AML/ KYC Regulatory requirements for all clients and analyzing any transactions that appear unusual based on the customers profile Effectively conduct AML /KYC formality reports on questionable accounts and transactions. Manage the business group's Know Your Client process (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering process (AML) in strict compliance with the Local Laws and International best practices. Receive Internal Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) from the branches to investigate and take suitable action on case to case basis by filing STR reports to Kuwait Financial Intelligence Unit. The summary of such STRs filed shall be notified to the board on a periodic basis. Respond to the queries raised by the local regulatory authorities in money laundering and terrorist financing cases. Respond promptly to any request made by the Enforcement Unit or regulatory authority / Correspondent banks. Monitor the day-to-day transactions based on the Red Flag Alerts / parameter kept in the system. Furnish periodic report to Board of Directors of Al Mulla International Exchange Company K.S.C.C about the gaps/findings/corrective actions taken based on the External AML Audit. Keep record of all correspondence and circulars issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. Scrutinize and keep a record of all contracts that are signed with correspondents from the perspective of these meeting the CBK requirements. Perform background check of all candidates before they are considered for recruitment by the Company from World Check Database / Dow Jones.
